This half term, we have been learning all about travel and places around the world. We explored how people travel to different places — by car, train, bus, plane, boat, and even walking or cycling! We talked about where people live in the world and learned about different communities. We also looked closely at our own community and thought about the people who help us every day, like doctors, shopkeepers, and firefighters.
Alongside this, we had an exciting topic on space! We discovered the planets in our solar system and where they all fit in. We learned fun facts about each planet — like how Mars is red, Jupiter is the biggest, and Saturn has rings. We even talked about astronauts and how they travel into space in rockets. 🌌🪐
It’s been a fantastic half term full of discovering the world around us — and beyond!
