Educare Survey

‘Following the Prime Minister’s announcement of a national lockdown this evening, the following arrangements will be put in place for education at Sherford Vale School on Tuesday 5 January.

I’m sure you can appreciate the complexities of decisions at such short notice.

The children of key workers and vulnerable pupils can attend school on Tuesday 5 January.

These children will receive emergency educare and further plans will be put in place from Wednesday onwards.

For any parents who are unable to provide for their children at home tomorrow, their children can also attend school for Tuesday 5th only. This is so parents can make the necessary arrangements to look after them at home from Wednesday onwards.

Request for Key Worker Provision Sherford Vale School

All other children should remain at home. Due to the short notice of this decision, no remote learning will be provided for these children until Wednesday 6 January.

Unfortunately there will be NO before/after school provision tomorrow due to staff numbers and teachers planning for home learning for Wednesday.

Nursery will be closed in line with the school.

Further details of remote learning and other arrangements will be communicated tomorrow.

In the meantime, We can only apologise for the inconvenience in know these changes will cause’.

Thank you - keep smiling
