Our first Christmas Fair
Christmas comes to Sherford Vale 🎅
On Friday 7th December we held our first ever Christmas Fair. It was a great success with families, staff and members of the Sherford community attending.
Our Fair coincided with our external 18ft Christmas Tree light switch on which is located outside the main entrance, members of the media and local businesses were all in attendance.
Stall holders filled the corridor selling fresh produce and Christmas themed goodies.
Children made cookies, cuddly snowmen and decorations and the older KS2 children had games stalls whereby you could try to win prizes.
Our newly formed fantastic Choir entertained the crowds with lots of Christmas Songs.
We had a very special visit from Santa who took time from his very busy schedule to come and see us, he left us a special tree of wishes.
The atmosphere was amazing and we are really pleased with the funds that we raised for our school. As ever this will help every child benefit from all those extra things, which the school could not otherwise afford to provide.
Well done to all the Staff, Children and Friends of Sherford Vale for putting on such a fantastic event!
Thank you to our Friends of Sherford Vale (PTA) who have purchased 4 sustainable Christmas trees which we have now planted. These are situated outside on the green in the playground.
One tree has been allocated to each house in the school Plym (Blue), Dart (Green), Yealm (Yellow) and Erme (Red)! We can't wait to see these grow with our school and decorated in House colours each year!
