Yesterday, Year 5 spent the morning at Coombe Dean School for a 'Positive Relationships' event.
Firstly, we made (and ate!) delicious pizzas. We then worked in teams for a variety of challenges such as orienteering and a library challenge. Out of over 10 teams, two of Sherford Vale's teams were won the challenge by getting the most points for correctly identifying the Roald Dahl books which various quotes came from.
We spent the second part of the morning working together in teams to complete a variety of challenges, including a conga around the hall, and noticed that certain people's skills are more useful for particular tasks.
Overall, we had great fun and learnt a lot about themselves and others. Thank you to Coobme Dean for such a great day!
