This term our topic is 'The High Street: How shopping has changed through the ages

The aim of this enquiry is to explore ‘changes within living times’. Children will be able to identify specific differences as well as recognise relevant similarities. While we all still undertake shopping on a daily or weekly basis the processes involved in this activity have been transformed over the last fifty or so years. The advent of refrigeration and computerisation have revolutionised what and how we shop. Even how we pay for our shopping has changed. 

We will be incorporating local history through looking at places have been to and recognise and see how they looked historically.
