This term our topic title is, 'Why was winning the Battle of Britain in 1940 so important?'

This term, we will be travelling back in time to World War II. We will look at The Battle of Britain in History. In English, we will be reading 'Letters from a Lighthouse' and 'My Secret War Diary' to learn about evacuation and The Blitz - writing narratives around these aspects of the war. In art, our topic is 'Make do and mend'. In addition, our class novel is 'Goodnight, Mr Tom'.
