Hedgehog class consists of children in Foundation Stage.
Curriculum and Topic
Exploration, experimentation and play are encouraged in Hedgehog class, and we aim to provide an environment where children are confident to be independent, take risks and also develop their social skills too.
Our current topic is 'Do zebras have stripes?'
Key Information
We will have our PE session on a Tuesday and Friday every week. Your child's PE kit will need to be in school for them to change into for each session. We will also be using the outdoor area, but we will not need to change for this. Aprons must be worn when learning in the water area and in the mud kitchen. Once a week, the children will take part in Forest School. The school have waterproof trousers and coats, however, you can provide our own if you wish. The children will need their own pair of wellies as Forest School can get very muddy!
